About Us

At Glowing Beans, we want to equip our children with strong foundation for lifelong love of learning and thrive in a nurturing environment which is purposefully designed to provide engaging, stimulating and challenging learning experiences to promote children’s holistic development.  We offer a safe, clean, supportive, hands-on and play-based environment where 12 months to 6 years old children can learn and grow.

Our Philosophy

Children are at the heart of all we do.

The school’s philosophy is to view each child as an individual and help each child to reach his or her full potential as a caring, giving and loving citizen of the world. The school’s purpose is to promote holistic development of the young child through cooperative efforts of educators, family members and others who are positioned to nurture, stimulate and encourage the child

Our Values

Child Focused

All activities, play/work spaces and materials are developmentally appropriate and support active learning for children.

Professionalism

We invest in our staff to provide the highest quality environment through extensive and on-going training and professional development.

Transparency

At our core is a belief in the partnership between family and school in the endeavour to raise children. We value the participation of parents in their child’s early learning experience.

Whole Child Development

We foster all aspects of children’s growth and development including problem-solving skills, empathy and respect, independence, language, social development, self-esteem and confidence.

Accessibility

We strive to provide a welcoming environment and will diligently work to accommodate the unique needs of every child.

Sustainable

We are fiscally responsible, socially aware and environmentally conscious in all that we do. Daily activities are carried out with the underlying concept of conservation and sustainability.

Social and Emotional Development

“Play is the work of childhood.”

Motor Skills Development

“Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love and send them forth in freedom. ”

Discovery of the world

“I want my children to understand the world, but not just because the world is fascinating and the human mind is curious. I want them to understand it so that they will be positioned to make it a better place”

Aesthetics and Creative Expression

“Creativity becomes more visible when adults try to be more attentive to the cognitive processes of children than to the results they achieve in various fields of doing and understanding.”

Numeracy

“What the hand does the mind remembers.”

Language & Literacy

“Every child needs at least one adult who is irrationally crazy about him or her.”

STEM

“You see a child play, and it is so close to seeing an artist paint, for in play a child says things without uttering a word. You can see how he solves his problems. You can also see what’s wrong. Young children, especially, have enormous creativity, and whatever’s in them rises to the surface in free play.”

Outdoor learning

“What a child can do today with assistance, she will be able to do by herself tomorrow.”
